We are offering a digital writing tools class for 4th, 5th and 6th grade teachers.

Participants will learn how to use online, interactive (free) digital writing tools to create journals, biographies, ads, posters, play scripts, etc.

Participants will also receive licenses for PIXIE 3, picture books and loads of great collaborative time with their peers.


There is no charge for this course.

Speech Recognition In Windows 7 Video Tutorial

If you are working on a Windows 7 computer, you have the option to use Speech Recognition for certain computer commands and typing.

Tom Redd, one of our Elementary School Technology Specialists, has created a video tutorial to show you how to set it up on your computer.

His video tutorial will remain in Safari Montage for later reference as well.

There is also a Speech Tutorial in the control panel that you can watch to walk you through learning the speech commands.
