GeoGuessr will test your analytical skills as you and your class try to figure out where the Google Earth images were taken.

Move about on the Google Earth images to find clues to help pinpoint where on Earth the view is from. Look at the vegetation,

the landscape, are there any buildings, road signs or people in the picture? These

are all great clues to help you narrow in on the correct location.

Make your guess by marking the geographical world map and see how close you were. Earn points based on how close your were.

Then take it to another level and set up a challenge to do with another class. After sharing a link to the created GeoGuessr challenge, both classes will see the same five images

and attempt to earn the most points by making the most accurate guesses. You can build in a time limit or play with unlimited time. You can decide rather to allow Google searches

to help track down information about the clues you find in the Google Earth image.

There are many ways to use GeoGuessr. It's a great website for higher order thinking!
